Inspired by the Nooma-- or not?

Rob Bell, pastor of Grand Rapids, Michigan's Mars Hill Bible Church (not the Mars Hill Church in Seattle led by Mark Driscoll), is well-known for His "Nooma" videos that are being used all across the country. The word "Nooma" is a transliteration of the Greek word for Spirit.

Anyway, his church recently embraced egalitarianism in the church-- meaning that women can now hold the office of elder. Read this account of this change. It is shocking in a number of ways.
